We were told that the liver would not respond to radiation so it would not be used for treatment unless needed to control bleeding in the stomach as a result of the tumor shrinking. (I think I got that right.)
He also said that he would need to see significant response in the lymph nodes and liver to the chemo before he would think it possible to do a radical gastrectomy, but that would be way down the line if done.
